Heralds of the Cross Motorcycle Ministry
Heralds of the Cross Motorcycle Ministry is an interdenominational ministry for all types of motorcyclists. We do not discriminate on the basis of denominational affiliation, race, disability, skill level, experience, brand, or style of motorcycle. We have an outreach booth at several of the major motorcycle shows and rides in the Chicago area. From this booth we distribute free Bibles, tracts, and Christian videos with an evangelistic theme. We attend many of the area's rides so that we can minister one-on-one. We hold an annual Bike Blessing each spring which all are welcome to attend. We give out free refreshments to those who attend, pray with them for a safe riding season, and invite them to stay for the worship service After the service, we ride to lunch with whoever wants to come. We hold an annual Pig Roast each summer which is open to everyone. Free food, a live band, and games for kids offer something for everyone, and folks line up for a chance to dunk our National President in the dunk tank! We also have monthly breakfast rides, ice cream rides, and other social rides, as well as participating in some of the area's organized fund-raiser rides. One More Mile Riders
OMM Riders was founded in Istanbul in 1998 as a Motorcycling Activities Center for all Turkish Bikers and for Riders planning to visit this Country. Excellence in riding, intelligence in touring and generosity in sharing: One More Mile summarizes the belief that the Ride is as important as the Destination. The Group works to improve riding Safety, to promote advanced Training and to discover new and old places on two wheels. The OMM activities are open to all Clubs, Associations and individuals Riders. The OMM Site is monthly updated and it contains hundreds of pages of information on Riding subjects and Biking in Turkey with all the Bulletins issued in the last four years. OMM - Advanced Riding Academy organizes training courses in Turkey and abroad for all levels of riding experience.
