New York State Military Museum
New York Resources for the Revolution, Civil War, Spanish-American War, WW1 and WW2. We have unit rosters to 80% of the Civil War Regiments with 2,500 photographs. In addition nearly every regiment has a newspaper clipping file. For the Spanish-American War we have a name index and rosters for 100% of the NY units. Our WW1 resoures include cards for all officers from NY. We also have a complete list of the NY National Guardsmen federalized for WW2.
