The vineyards of "Skovin" cover 450 hectares in the Skopje valley. Our grapes contain sharpness of winter ice and heat of long and dry summers, reflecting the climate of our region. Annual number of sunny days ranging from 160 to 170, average temperatures between 12 and 14 degrees Celsius, location in unpolluted regions far from the industrial facilities and other environmental aspects add to raising grapes of high quality and abundant in sugar. About 4000 t grapes is average harvest. The additional quantity of grapes needed to produce wine is bought from Macedonian vine growers, coming mainly from the Povardarie region.
